1.Rest - Resting your legs and body give time your psoas muscle to heal itself. By putting too much strain on your flexor muscle, you can further damage your flexor muscles.

2.Ice - Apply an ice pack for fifteen minutes for every 5 hours to reduce pain. Wrap ice in the towel or any other cotton cloth to avoid ice burn.

3.Compression - Compression bandages can also help avoid further bruising and swelling.

4.Elevation - Try to position yourself in a way that your hip is not the lowest part of your body.
